Job DescriptionAbout the Role
nWe are looking for a skilled Automotive Application Design Engineer with expertise in product design, fluid systems engineering, and automotive component development.
nIn this role, you will support engineering programs from quote through launch, leading the design, validation, and development of fluid assemblies and automotive components. You will collaborate closely with customers, platform teams, and manufacturing to deliver robust, production-ready designs.

- Design and develop automotive components and fluid assemblies from concept to productionn
- Support end-to-end product development lifecycle including design, validation, and launchn
- Collaborate with customers, account managers, and platform teams to define product requirementsn
- Establish design parameters and manufacturing feasibility for automotive componentsn
- Guide designers on fabrication, processing, and assembly considerationsn
- Execute and implement programs through APQP / AQP methodologiesn
- Create and approve engineering drawings,



material specifications, and performance criterian
- Conduct failure mode analysis (DFMEA) and ensure design robustnessn
- Develop and execute design validation plans (DVP&R;) and testing reportsn
- Drive design standardization and simplification to improve cost and efficiencyn
- Coordinate prototype development, testing, and submissionn
- Ensure all engineering and program objectives are achieved within timelinesn

nRequired Skills

- 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering / product design engineeringn
- Robust expertise in automotive component design and fluid systems engineeringn
- Hands-on experience with DFMEA, DVP&R;, and APQP (AQP) processesn
- Experience in design validation, failure analysis, and product testingn
- Strong understanding of manufacturing feasibility and production processesn
- Proficiency in engineering drawings, CAD tools, and design documentat
