We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure data services and a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data solutions using Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-16 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Azure data services and tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Experience with data modeling and data architecture best practices.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
