Job Description – Franchise Development Manager Location: Mumbai Company: the EleFant Department: Franchise Growth & Expansion Experience: 3–6 Years About the Role We are looking for a Franchise Development Manager who can drive the EleFant’s expansion by identifying, engaging and converting potential franchise partners across India. This is primarily a sales and business development role. The person will own the franchise lead journey—from the first conversation to commercial discussion, closure, documentation and handover for launch. The ideal candidate should be target-driven, persuasive, commercially sharp and comfortable selling an entrepreneurial opportunity. Key Responsibilities 1. Franchise Sales & Conversion Manage franchise leads generated through digital marketing, referrals, events and other channels. Understand the prospect’s investment capacity, location and business expectations. Conduct franchise presentations and discovery calls. Explain the EleFant business model, investment, economics and operating structure. Handle commercial questions and objections confidently. Follow up systematically and drive prospects towards closure.



Achieve monthly franchise sales and revenue targets. 2. Franchise Lead Management Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. Ensure quick response to all incoming leads. Maintain complete lead status and follow-up history in CRM. Identify hot, warm and long-term prospects. Improve lead-to-meeting and meeting-to-closure conversion. 3. Market & Territory Development Identify high-potential cities, micro-markets and territories for expansion. Build city-wise franchise pipelines. Research competition, demographics and local business potential. Develop local channels for franchise lead generation. 4. Commercial Closure & Documentation Coordinate franchise agreements, payments and documentation. Ensure prospects clearly understand the commercial model before signing. Work with Finance, Legal and Operations for smooth closure. Maintain proper documentation for every franchise partner. 5.
