Technical Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of sophisticated, large-scale analytics and data-driven Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our data infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and capable of handling immense data volumes and complex analytical workloads.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the architectural design and technical direction for distributed systems, data engineering pipelines, and scalable SaaS platforms.
- Define and implement best practices for high-volume data processing, complex computations, and real-time analytics.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, product management, and platform teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture views, technology blueprints, and design specifications.
- Drive the adoption of modern technologies and methodologies, such as containerization, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data platforms and analytics solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities.

Qualifications:

Skills:
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and SaaS architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data platforms and analytics architectures.
- Proficiency in technologies such as Kafka, PubSub, Kinesis,



Data Lakes (S3, ADLS, GCS), Columnar Stores (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, ClickHouse), and databases (MySQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, HBase, Spark).
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong coding skills in Python and/or Go.
- Solid understanding of API design, Microservices, and Event-Driven Systems.
- Proficient in data modeling (OLAP, dimensional, event-based), feature engineering, and ML/LLM pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Sentry).
- Experience building or supporting AI-powered analytics systems is a significant advantage.

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
