n● Owns a 12–24 month risk and technology maturity roadmap — translates HIPAA/regulatory exposure into a business narrative ELT can act on
n● Independent point of view on where AI helps (policy management, compliance monitoring, HR ops) vs. where it introduces risk — can defend that judgment to legal counsel
n● Delivers ELT-ready risk narratives with named precedent and specific past resolution, not generalized "leadership team" framing
n● Follows issues through resolution (BAA gaps, contract disputes) — visible ownership past the legal handoff
n● Success = risk posture measurably improved against a plan they set, communicated in business terms, not compliance jargon
