About the Role

We are looking for a Middle School Social Science Teacher to join our school in Jaipur. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise and experience teaching Social Science at the middle school level, preferably within the ICSE curriculum.

The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that encourages students to understand history, geography, civics, and related social science concepts while developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and awareness of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the ICSE curriculum and grade-level learning objectives.
- Teach concepts across areas such as History, Geography, Civics, and related Social Science topics.
- Use a variety of teaching methodologies, including discussions, projects, case studies, debates, presentations, maps, primary sources, and multimedia resources.
- Encourage students to think critically, analyse information, ask questions, and connect classroom learning with real-world events.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and other learning resources.
- Assess and monitor student learning through classwork, homework, quizzes, projects, examinations, and formative assessments.




- Provide constructive feedback to students and identify areas requiring additional academic support.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
- Encourage students to develop communication, research, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Integrate relevant current affairs and real-world examples into classroom discussions.
- Collaborate with other teachers and academic coordinators on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary activities.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, academic activities, professional development programmes, and other school initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of teaching resources and continuous improvement of the Social Science curriculum.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Social Science, or a related subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
- 2–5 years of experience teaching Social Science at the middle school level in ICSE or Cambridge curriculum school.
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
- Good understanding of middle school pedagogy, assessment practices, and classroom management.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technology to support classroom learning.
