Job DescriptionWe are partnering with a leading environmental infrastructure and renewable energy organization to identify a Business Head – Waste-to-Energy (WTE) who will lead the strategic growth and operations of its WTE business.
nThis is a P&L; leadership role responsible for driving business expansion, project development, plant operations, commercial performance, and stakeholder engagement across a portfolio of Waste-to-Energy assets.
nKey Responsibilities

- Lead the overall WTE business with end-to-end ownership of strategy, operations, growth, and profitability.n
- Drive P&L;, EBITDA, operational performance, and business expansion.n
- Lead the development, commissioning, and operation of Waste-to-Energy projects.n
- Drive Plant Load Factor (PLF), generation efficiency, reliability, and operational excellence across multiple plants.n
- Manage project development, CAPEX planning, technology adoption, and business growth initiatives.n
- Build strong relationships with government authorities, utilities, municipal corporations, regulators,



investors, and strategic partners.n
- Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, safety, and power sector requirements.n
- Lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Projects, Commercial, Business Development, HSE, and Finance.n

nCandidate Profile

- n
- 20+ years of leadership experience in Waste-to-Energy, Power Generation, Biomass, Thermal Power, Renewable Energy, Utilities, or Environmental Infrastructure.n
- Proven experience in developing, commissioning, and operating large-scale power generation assets (100 MW+ preferred).n
- Solid background in P&L; management, greenfield project development, operations & maintenance, CAPEX planning, and business expansion.n
- Excellent understanding of power sector regulations, PPAs, utility operations, and stakeholder management.n
- Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and drive business growth.n
