We are looking for a Finance Controller to lead Plush’s finance controllership function and ensure strong financial discipline, accurate reporting, robust controls, and regulatory compliance as the business scales.
The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounting and controllership function, driving timely monthly closures and MIS, overseeing taxation and statutory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and providing meaningful financial insights to the leadership team.
The ideal candidate should be commercially oriented, highly analytical, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-stage workplace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Controllership & Accounting
- Own the end-to-end accounting and financial controllership function.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes.
- Review P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow and other financial statements.
- Ensure appropriate accounting policies, provisions, accruals and reconciliations.




- Drive timely closure of books and resolution of accounting issues.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets and bank reconciliations.

2. MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly financial MIS and management dashboards.
- Provide insights on revenue, margins, operating costs, working capital and profitability.
- Track actuals against budgets and forecasts and highlight key variances.
- Develop business-specific financial metrics and dashboards for leadership.
- Partner with business teams to improve financial visibility and decision-making.

3. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Work closely with business and functional heads on budget preparation.
- Monitor monthly budget utilisation and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
