nAVP Investment Banking is a mid-senior level position responsible for providing advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, capital raise and other types of financial transactions.
nQualifications:
n• Education: MBA from top tier Institute/CA. A strong academic record is essential.
n• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or 5-6 years of experience in a particular sector
nKey Responsibilities:
n• Lead end-to-end execution of live transactions across M&A; and IPOs, including transaction structuring, documentation, coordination with stakeholders, and deal closure
n• Build and review financial models for mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising transactions, including integrated operating and valuation models
n• Perform valuation analyses using Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), and regression-based methodologies
n• Support in financial, business, and legal due diligence,



including research, analysis, and preparation of transaction documentation for live deals • Prepare high-quality presentations for RFPs, pitches, and client discussions, with a strong focus on crafting a compelling equity story and transaction rationale
n• Support idea generation for potential M&A; opportunities through sector expertise, thematic analysis, and extensive market and company research • Maintain strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, policies, market developments, and news flow, and assess their implications on transactions and clients
n• Support coverage responsibilities by developing and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive business origination
