**Job Description Summary** The Graduate Engineer Trainee will support manufacturing and quality activities for GE HealthCare Ultrasound and PCS products. The role provides hands-on exposure to production operations, manufacturing processes, equipment calibration and validation, quality issue resolution, manufacturing documentation, supplier quality coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Support day-to-day manufacturing activities for Ultrasound and PCS products to help maintain safe, compliant, and efficient production operations. + Support investigation and resolution of manufacturing and product quality issues on the production line. + Ensure equipment calibration activities are completed according to established schedules and maintain calibration records and reports. + Perform verification and validation activities related to manufacturing equipment and production processes and support preparation of associated reports. + Support installation and maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment. + Support identification and ordering of tools and equipment required for manufacturing operations. + Support timely review and clearance of non-conforming material reports from production and maintain the designated non-conforming product area. + Work with cross-functional teams and Supplier Quality Engineering to support problem solving and resolution of rejected material issues. + Coordinate with suppliers and production teams on part rejections, rework activities, and related follow-up actions. + Support preparation and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions, including revision control.



+ Support preparation and maintenance of Device History Records and associated revision history. + Support engineering change communication and controlled distribution of relevant documentation across cross-functional teams. + Support training of manufacturing team members on changes to work instructions and manufacturing processes. + Participate in developing solutions to improve quality, cost, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency. + Support assigned EHS activities and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment. + Support maintenance of capital goods inventory and ensure appropriate identification and traceability. + Execute Poka-Yoke improvement projects involving jigs and fixtures to simplify manufacturing processes and reduce opportunities for errors. + Support Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines. + Support the manufacturing team in Lean Action Work Outs and other Lean initiatives across the site. + Comply with applicable site Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and work instructions. + Comply with site Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. + Follow applicable site HR and administrative policies. **Required Qualifications** + B.E./B.Tech. graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Or Mechanical Engineering. + Fresh graduate or up to one year of relevant experience. + Basic understanding of engineering principles with an interest in manufacturing, production, and quality. + Ability to understand and follow technical procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.



**Desired Characteristics** + Academic project, internship, or practical exposure to manufacturing, production, or quality. + Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment calibration, verification, and validation. + Awareness of quality concepts and structured problem-solving methodologies. + Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts such as Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and 5S. + Exposure to technical documentation, work instructions, or manufacturing records. + Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. + Willingness to learn and develop technical capabilities in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. + Cooperative and proactive approach with an interest in quality and continuous improvement. **Inclusion and Diversity** GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
