We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Auditor to join our team. The Inventory Auditor will be responsible for conducting thorough physical counts and audits of inventory to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements to inventory management processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our stock levels and supporting efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Identify and report on damaged, obsolete, or expired inventory.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential areas for loss.
- Develop and implement audit procedures to improve inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for management.
Qualifications
- Skills:
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in inventory management software, basic understanding of accounting principles, and good communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
- Attributes: Highly organized, methodical, reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a high degree of integrity.
