About the job

About the Role

The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The role will also support accounts payable/receivable, audits, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform regular bank reconciliations across all company accounts, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, patient/partner invoicing, and collections follow-up.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date books of accounts using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks).
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, including timely filings and liaison with consultants where needed.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and monthly financial summaries for leadership.
- Coordinate with auditors, CA firms, and external stakeholders for audits, filings, and statutory requirements.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning across departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
- Flag financial risks or irregularities proactively and recommend process improvements.

Must Have





B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.

2-4 years of hands-on experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Practical experience with bank reconciliation and accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).

Solid working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian statutory compliance requirements.

Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Good to Have

Experience working in a fast-scaling startup environment.

Exposure to multi-currency transactions or international payments/partners.

Experience supporting audits end-to-end.
