The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design as well as hands-on experience managing retail store projects from concept through to store opening. This role requires strong design sensibility, exceptional project management capabilities, technical understanding, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver projects within budget, timeline, and quality standards.As an Interior Design & Projects Manager, you will lead design development and collaborate with architects, contractors, vendors, landlords and internal business teams to ensure design intent is translated accurately into seamless on-ground execution while maintaining brand quality benchmarks.Key Responsibilities:Design & Concept DevelopmentDevelop and finalize store design concepts, layouts, and specifications in line with brand guidelinesPrepare and review design drawings, mood boards, material palettes,
and finish schedulesCollaborate with external designers/architects (where applicable) and ensure design consistency across all store formatsAdapt design concepts to suit varying store sizes, locations, and site constraints, including features like baby care rooms, in-house clinics, and waiting areasProject Planning & ExecutionManage end-to-end execution of interior fit-out projects for new store openings, renovations, and refreshesDevelop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for multiple concurrent store projectsMonitor project progress across multiple locations, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely store openingsSite ManagementSupervise on-site execution to ensure the built store matches approved design intent and brand specificationsConduct site inspections, quality audits, and progress reviews to maintain consistent store execution standardsEnsure safety compliance and adherence to site protocols throughout the project durationResolve on-ground technical, design, and vendor issues while minimizing delays to store opening timelinesVendor CoordinationCoordinate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and vendors throughout the project lifecycleManage procurement coordination and ensure timely delivery of materials, fixtures,
and equipmentDocumentation & ComplianceReview BOQs, technical drawings, material specifications, and work ordersEnsure adherence to local building codes, landlord requirements, safety regulations, and brand construction standardsBudget & ReportingTrack project costs, monitor budgets against actuals, approve invoices, and control project expendituresPrepare regular project status reports and communicate updates to leadership and operations teamLead project handovers, snag closures, and final quality inspections before store handoverRequirements & SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Architecture3–6 years of experience in interior design and project management, ideally within retail or commercial environmentsProven experience handling multiple store/retail projects simultaneously, from design concept to on-time deliveryStrong design sensibility along with practical understanding of interior fit-out processes and construction feasibilityExperience working with contractors, vendors, landlords, and cross-functional internal teamsKnowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and vendor managementExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel frequently across project sites/regionsSoftware proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Project or Primavera, and Microsoft ExcelExperience with procurement management, quantity surveying, and BOQ preparation/verificationStrong understanding of safety compliance and interior finishing standardsInterested candidates can reach out to or contact (phone hidden).
