Roles & Responsibilities: HCM Functional Consultant

- Design, build and configure applications to meet the business process and application requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Workday security framework, business process configuration
- Experience with configuration and testing of Workday HCM modules
- Knowledge on Reports and Calculation fields - Security Configuration
- Responsible for client deliverables of low-medium complexity work along with quality check, learning and understanding the client's requirements
- Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it for implementation
- Work directly with Onshore teams & integration consultants in defining the approach, migration of configuration data into Workday
- Functional Consultant with relevant knowledge and experience of the respective business processes for design and configuration
- Accountable for the development of test scenarios using Workday functional knowledge in Core HCM

Must-Have Certifications

- Workday HCM Core

Experience & Background

- BE/ B. Tech / M Tech/ MBA/ MCA

- Candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in IT.

- Minimum of 1 year of current hands-on Workday HCM Area

Required Skills/Experience:

- Understands and ensure security and data privacy standards

- Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level

- Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday HCM for global rollouts

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities

- Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution

- Highly self-motivated and detail oriented Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Good to have – Data Conversion Experience, exposure to Customer Central, iLoads, EIBs, Migration of functional configuration using Workday tools like Migration Recipe and Advance Loader.

- Good to have – reporting experience

- Understands Workday security domains and how to maintain security on business processes.

- Understand and follow defined development standards and best practices

- Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level.

- Good have exposure as a contributor in all phases of Workday implementation
