Job Title - TGT Biology Teacher (6 - 10)
Location - Near Whitefield , Bangalore
Salary - 30000 - 40000
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TGT Biology Teacher to teach Classes 6 and 10 under the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess robust subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students through interactive, practical, and concept -based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to students of Classes 6 and 10 as per the ICSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessments.
- Conduct laboratory practicals and demonstrations while ensuring laboratory safety.
- Foster scientific curiosity through experiments, projects, and inquiry -based learning.
- Assess students' academic performance through tests, assignments, and periodic evaluations.
- Provide academic guidance and remedial support to students as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Integrate technology and digital teaching tools into classroom instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
- Participate in school events, examinations, parent -teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology/Life Sciences (B.Sc.) with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Master's degree in Biology/Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences (M.Sc.) preferred.
- CTET/State TET qualification is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong command of Biology concepts and the ICSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to conduct laboratory experiments safely and effectively.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with smart classroom technologies and MS Office.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem -solving abilities.
