- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students.
- Support students with emotional, behavioral, academic, and personal challenges.
- Conduct psychological assessments and maintain confidential student records.
- Guide students on stress management, mental well -being, and career -related concerns.
- Work closely with teachers and parents to support students' overall development.
- Organize awareness programs and workshops on mental health and life skills.
- Refer students to specialized professionals when necessary.
Requirements
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology.
- Diploma/Certification in Counseling is preferred.
- Positive communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in school counseling is preferred but dedicated freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply. Typical school counselor qualifications include a Psychology degree along with counseling training or experience.
