Roles and Responsibilities

- Industry know how-

- Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, Tyres and Steel Wheel Rims (including Steel)

- Industry study, Product study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, cost drivers, manufacturing knowledge of Tyres and Steel Wheel Rim will be added advantage

- Cost Reduction and Negotiation Skills:

- Knowledge of Tyres and Steel Wheel Rims and techno-commercial details about the same

- Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE

- Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution

- Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit and compliance

- Legal knowledge is added advantage – supplier contract management

- Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:

- Basic understanding of suppliers' balance sheets for commercial negotiations.

- Basic understanding and risk indicators of suppliers to mitigate potential risks to the supply chain.

- Benchmarking Technology and Prices:





- Conduct benchmarking studies to compare technology and prices across the industry.

- Use benchmarking data to inform decision-making and ensure the company remains competitive.

- Supplier Risk Management:

- Develop and execute supplier risk management and mitigation plans.

- Proactively identify potential risks and take steps to minimize their impact on the supply chain.
