Job DescriptionPosition: GNC Engineer (Flight Control)
nPurpose of role: Design, develop and test the control algorithms for launch vehicles.
nResponsibilities

- Design robust controller for different stages of the launch vehicle and validating in 6 DOF simulations.n
- Develop the GNC algorithm for flight software and perform its verification and validation.n
- Perform testing of GNC software through Monte Carlo analysis, software-in-loop, hardware-in-loop testing.n
- Documenting the design and test results and participating in design reviews.n

nSkills required

- n
- Experience or knowledge in classical controller design, Gain scheduling and contemporary control design techniques.n
- Experience or knowledge in design and validation of the control laws by SIL and HIL tests.n
- Sound knowledge in flight mechanics, control system design for aerospace vehicles.n
- Strong understanding of classical dynamics,



modelling and simulation, and software development.n
- Experience in using Matlab and Simulink tools for system modelling and control system design.n
- Flair for high-level language like C/C++ etc. is essential.n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and intense start-up environment and must be willing to work for extended hours and weekends.n

nQualification
nBachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Control/Electrical (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in control design, modelling and simulation
n(or) Master's degree in Controls System/Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Flight Mechanics and Control (or equivalent).
nPreferrable:
nExperience in Hardware-In-Loop Simulation (HILS).
