Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Auditing Head – Plants & Yards to lead and manage operational audits across manufacturing plants, fabrication units, warehouses, and storage yards. The role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, strengthening internal controls, safeguarding assets, minimizing operational risks, and improving process efficiency.
nThe ideal candidate should have solid experience in operational audits, inventory verification, plant compliance, process improvement, and risk management within the Manufacturing, Scaffolding, Metals, Iron & Steel, or Engineering industry.
nKey Responsibilities
nOperational & Plant Audits

- Develop and execute annual audit plans for manufacturing plants, fabrication units, warehouses, and yards.n
- Conduct operational audits to evaluate production processes, inventory management, procurement, dispatch, logistics, and asset utilisation.n
- Assess compliance with company policies, SOPs, and internal control systems.n
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective and preventive actions.n





nInventory & Asset Verification

- Conduct physical verification of raw materials, finished goods, consumables, scaffolding materials, tools, equipment, and fixed assets.n
- Reconcile physical inventory with ERP records and investigate discrepancies.n
- Monitor inventory movement, stock aging, scrap generation, and material losses.n
- Ensure proper asset tagging, tracking, and utilization.n

nCompliance & Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, safety standards, and operational procedures.n
- Identify fraud risks, control weaknesses, and process gaps.n
- Recommend improvements to strengthen governance and internal controls.n
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations across all locations.n
