Job DescriptionThe Finance Controller will oversee critical financial operations, including cost control, stakeholder management, compliance, audits, financial reporting, and strategic planning. The role ensures accuracy of financial statements, adherence to statutory regulations, process improvements, and overall financial health of the university. The position reports directly to the CFO and acts as a strategic partner in driving financial performance.
nKey Responsibilities
n1. Cost Reduction and Financial Control
nImplement and monitor cost-saving initiatives across departments.
nStrengthen financial controls to improve efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
n2. Stakeholder Management
nMaintain effective communication with vendors, students, parents, employees, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
nCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial issues.
n3. Finalization of Accounts & Financial Reporting
nOversee preparation, review, and finalization of financial statements.
nEnsure accuracy, completeness,



and timely submission of financial reports.
nPrepare and present management reports for decision-making.
nMaintain comprehensive documentation for financial activities and audits.
n4. Audit and Compliance Management
nManage statutory, internal, and IFC audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
nEnsure adherence to applicable financial laws, policies, and accounting standards.
nHandle direct and indirect taxation matters, including GST and Income Tax notices.
n5. Due Diligence
nConduct financial and legal due diligence for business initiatives, projects, and strategic decisions.
nEvaluate financial risks and compliance requirements.
n6. Business Planning and Strategy
nCollaborate with the CFO in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy development.
nProvide financial insights to support business growth and operational decisions.
