Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Retail AP & Inventory Accounting Team Lead to lead a high-performing team responsible for Accounts Payable, Inventory Accounting, and Financial Controls activities.
nKey Responsibilities

- n
- Lead end-to-end Inventory Accounting and Accounts Payable processes.n
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.n
- Manage inventory, AP, GR/IR, accrual, clearing account and balance sheet reconciliations.n
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.n
- Investigate and resolve complex accounting discrepancies, aged balances, and reconciling items.n
- Drive process improvements, standardisation, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.n
- Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Field Accounting, and business stakeholders.n
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.n




- Act as an escalation point for operational and stakeholder issues.n

nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline
nStrong experience in:
