- Oversee teaching at the school and ensure the classes are covering and meeting the requirements set out by the governing body.n
- Develop and implement effective processes for the learning and development of children.n
- Manage the reviews of teachers and other teaching staff within the school community.n
- Ensure that protocol is followed for any untoward situations that arise, such as assault within the school, instability of students' mental health, and safeguarding of students.n
- Implement safeguarding procedures as required.n
- Manage the school budget for all required expenditures such as learning materials, salaries, and also extracurricular activities.n
- Arrange and oversee parent-teacher meetings.n
- Prepare the teachers, students, and other staff members for inspections conducted by the regulatory authority.n
- Provide reports on performance, financials, and improvements to the board of chairs.n
- Create a diverse, agile, and inclusive environment among the teachers and students.n
- Take classes when required to cover for sickness and absence of teachers.n
