nAbout the Role
nThis role provides an excellent opportunity to gain international accounting experience by working directly with New Zealand clients.
nYou will receive structured, paid training in New Zealand accounting standards, taxation, and business practices, with ongoing mentoring and support from our experienced accounting team.
nYour responsibilities will include:




n* Preparing annual financial statements
n* Preparing GST returns
n* Preparing income tax returns
n* Bookkeeping
n* Payroll processing
n* Bank reconciliations
n* Preparing working papers
n* Reviewing financial information
n* Assisting senior & other accountants
n* Communicating with clients via email
n* Maintaining accurate client records

nWhat We're Looking For
nThe ideal candidate will:
n* Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
n* Have accounting experience (preferred)
n* Have strong written and spoken English communication skills
n* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n* Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n* Be able to manage deadlines and work independently
n* Be a positive team player with a willingness to learn
n* Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
n* Have experience with Xero or other accounting software (advantage
