nRole Overview
nThis role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of legal and compliance across the organization. You will act as a business enabler and risk controller, ensuring that all functions operate within regulatory frameworks while supporting growth.
nKey Responsibilities
nCompliance Ownership
nOwn and manage a centralized compliance tracker across all functions
nEnsure adherence to:

- n
- Legal Metrology (packaging, labeling, website, cartons)n
- HR compliances (Shops & Establishment, PF, ESIC, PT, POSH)n
- Secretarial compliances (MCA filings, board-related requirements)n
- GST and taxation regulationsn




- Marketing and advertising compliance (Meta, Amazon, website claims)n
- Insurance and statutory registrationsn
- Conduct regular compliance audits, identify gaps, and drive complete closuren
- Proactively highlight risk areas and non-compliance issues to leadershipn
- IP & Brand Protectionn
- Lead trademark filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement actionn
- Monitor and act against IP infringements across marketplaces and digital platformsn
- Develop and strengthen long-term IP strategy aligned with brand growthn

nCustoms & Import Compliance
nOversee compliance under the Customs Act for all imports
nEnsure:

- Correct HSN classificationn
- Accurate and complete documentationn
- Smooth customs clearance processesn
- Track and drive resolution of ongoing legal/customs casesn
- Stay updated with regulatory changes, certifications, and notificationsn
