nThe Company
nOur client is a diversified Myanmar business group with established and growing interests across the energy sector, including petroleum trading and distribution, downstream fuels, LPG, power generation and energy infrastructure.
nThe Position
nThe Business Development Director will lead the identification, evaluation and development of current opportunities across the Group's energy portfolio. The role will originate projects, assess commercial viability, develop business cases and support opportunities through negotiation, approval and implementation.
nWorking closely with senior leadership and internal investment, finance, legal, technical and operations teams,



the Director will develop strategic partnerships, joint ventures and commercial agreements with local and international stakeholders. The position will also provide market intelligence and recommendations supporting the Group's longer-term energy growth strategy.
nThe Person
nThe successful candidate will have senior business development or commercial experience within energy, ideally covering oil & gas, downstream petroleum, LPG, power generation, renewables or energy infrastructure. Strong experience in project development, commercial evaluation, partnerships, joint ventures and complex negotiations is expected.
nCandidates should be commercially astute, entrepreneurial and comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level. Southeast Asian or emerging-market experience would be advantageous.
