Job DescriptionRakon India is looking for an experienced and energetic Head - Quality (Senior Manager) to lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, and Quality Management Systems across our advanced electronics manufacturing operations.
nThis is a strategic leadership role for a quality professional who is passionate about driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and world-class quality standards.
nExperience
n15+ years in Quality Management within Electronics Manufacturing, including at least 10 years in leadership/managerial roles.
nKey Responsibilities
nLead end-to-end Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions
nDrive customer, supplier, product, and process quality excellence
nEnsure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EHS, and regulatory requirements
nLead certifications, internal and external audits, and quality improvement initiatives
nManage customer complaints, 8D reports, RMAs, corrective and preventive actions
nDevelop and mentor high-performing quality teams




nImplement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC, FMEA, and continuous improvement programs
nPartner with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to achieve best-in-class quality performance
nDesired Profile
nProven experience in electronics manufacturing
nStrong exposure to SMT/PTH processes, PCB assemblies, product integration, and testing
nExpertise in Supplier Quality Management and Incoming Quality Control
nKnowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-600, ISO standards, ESD/MSD requirements, FMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies
nStrong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
