nManager – Business Development
nRole Overview
nThe Manager – Business Development will drive the strategic growth, market
nexpansion, and project acquisition efforts for our large-scale thermal energy portfolios.
nThis role focuses on identifying industrial and utility-scale thermal opportunities
n(including traditional power generation, industrial steam/cogeneration, waste heat
nrecovery, and emerging clean-thermal technologies), building high-value client
nrelationships, and leading bids from initial tracking through to commercial closure.
nKey Responsibilities
nMarket Intelligence & Strategy: Track, analyze, and forecast market trends, regulatory
nframeworks, and competitive landscapes within the heavy industry and power sectors to
nidentify prospective thermal projects.
nPipeline Generation: Identify, qualify, and secure recent business opportunities, including
nlarge-scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, captive power
nplants, and industrial utility modernizations.
nKey Account Management:



Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite
nexecutives, government bodies, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and private
nindustrial giants.
nBid & Proposal Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Estimating,
nFinance, Legal) to prepare highly competitive techno-commercial bids, RFPs, and
nRFQs.
nCommercial Negotiation: Drive contract negotiations, risk assessment reviews, and
npricing strategies to secure profitable project margins while mitigating corporate liability.
nPartner Ecosystem Development: Identify and form strategic alliances, consortiums,
nor joint ventures with technology partners and sub-contractors to enhance bid
ncompetitiveness.
nRequired Qualifications & Experience
nEducation: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
nAn MBA in Marketing, International Business, or Finance is highly preferred.
nExperience: 15 to 18 ye
