nAbout the Role
nThe TGT Social Studies position involves teaching various Social Studies subjects to students, ensuring they receive a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum.
nResponsibilities
n
- n
- Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics to students.n
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.n
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity-based learning.n
- Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance.n
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.n
- Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth.n
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills,



and civic awareness among students.n
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.n
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities.n
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes.n

nQualifications
n
- n
- Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline.n
- B.Ed. degree is mandatory.n
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred.n
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.n
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.n
