Job DescriptionPosition: Manager-Facilities, for the campus of MIT Vishwaprayag University, Solapur

- Manage and supervise all housekeeping activities and maintenance of the entire premises, infra and assetsn
- Be responsible for overall Safety, Health and Hygiene of the premises – Medical Infirmary operations,n
- Fire safety precautions, fire drill, fire extinguishers,n
- Regular inspection of premises for cleanliness, toilet hygiene pest control contracts, security arrangements, including the development of systems and procedures for all the above.n
- Ensure that Material for Infrastructural Maintenance Requisitions for Stores items are duly raised when necessary and approved by the concerned for Purchase, as per procedure prescribed.n
- Monitor the performance of the approved vendors and keep track of quality, timing of delivery and reliability. Provide feedback of their performance on a regular basis to the Registrar and the Concerned Departments.n




- To co-ordinate and monitor the deployment and work of the ancillary staffn
- Manage and supervise all other facilities on the Campus viz. Tuck Shop / Canteen / Cafeteria / Transport / Hostels / Faculty accommodation / Guest House etc.n
- Manage, supervise and coordinate the events / activities on the Campusn
- To maintain and see to all contracts pertaining to outsourcing of the facilities, AMCs of the equipment on campus.n

nEssential qualifications:

- n
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineer with requisite experience in handling all the facilities on 75+ acres of an educational Organization's campusn

nSkills & Specific Experience

- At least 05 years of significant experience in facilities departmentn
- Shall possess hands on experience in similar role.n
- Positive interpersonal and communication skillsn
- Experience in managing the ancillary staff and lead a team towards excellence.n
