Job DescriptionAbout the Role
nWe are a SaaS company with a small, rapid moving India team. This role keeps the office running on the finance, HR, and admin side. You will handle the books and compliance filings, manage payroll and employee paperwork, and take care of vendors, assets, and everything else that keeps a workplace functioning. It is a hands on role with direct access to the founders.
nFinance and accounting
n
- n
- Day to day bookkeeping in Zoho Books or Tally, covering AP, AR, and bank reconciliationsn
- Vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and petty cash managementn
- Raising invoices for the India and US entities and following up on receivablesn
- Preparing monthly closing schedules and supporting the P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow reportsn
- Maintaining expense trackers and flagging anything that looks off against budgetn
- Coordinating with the CA firm on audits, filings, and year end documentationn
- Processing payroll inputs and supporting salary disbursementn

nCompliance and statutory

- Preparing and filing GST returns,



TDS deductions, professional tax, and PF and ESI contributionsn
- Maintaining statutory registers and keeping documentation audit ready at all timesn
- Supporting ROC and MCA filings alongside the company secretaryn
- Tracking due dates so nothing lapses, and escalating early when something needs a decisionn

nHR operations

- Employee lifecycle administration: offer letters, onboarding kits, document collection, confirmations, exits, and full and final settlementsn
- Attendance, leave tracking, and keeping the HRMS clean and currentn
- Payroll inputs, Form 16 distribution, and running the investment declaration cyclen
- Recruitment coordination including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer logisticsn
- Maintaining the employee handbook and policy documentsn
- Running engagement basics such as birthdays, team lunches, and quarterly offsitesn
