nWe are looking for Quality Head ( Machine Shop) with 15 - 20 years of experience for our plant located in Viralimalai, Trichy.
nTo lead and drive the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for Machine Shop operations by ensuring product quality, process compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with organizational and customer standards.
nKey Responsibilities :
n1. Establish and implement Quality Management systems.
n2. To aim for 100% defect free parts produced and despatched.
n3. To effectively handle customer queries/complainats.
n4. Monitor and review Quality control activities..
nFoundry & Machine Shop Quality
nMonitor quality parameters related to casting, machining, dimensional accuracy, heat treatment, and finishing.
nEnsure implementation of quality checks for raw materials, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
nOversee calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing instruments.




nDrive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
nCustomer & Supplier Quality
nHandle customer audits, complaints, and quality reviews.
nCoordinate with customers on quality improvements and corrective actions.
nDevelop supplier quality systems and monitor supplier performance.
nSystems & Compliance
nEnsure adherence to ISO/IATF/EMS/OHS standards as applicable.
nLead internal and external quality audits.
nMaintain documentation related to quality systems and certifications.
nTeam Management
nLead and mentor the quality team across shifts and functions.
nDrive capability building, technical training, and performance management within the team.
nDesired Candidate Profile
nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering.
nAdditional certification in Quality Management / Six Sigma preferred.
nStrong exposure to Foundry and Machine Shop quality operations.
nHands-on experience in inspec
