nRole Overview:
nAIM is looking for a senior media sales professional with a proven track record of closing large-ticket deals with government ministries, PSUs, and public sector undertakings. This role is responsible for driving advertising, sponsorship, and content partnership revenue from government and quasi-government accounts across AIM's portfolio of publications, events, and research platforms.
nThe ideal candidate understands the procurement and approval cycles within government institutions, has existing relationships with communication and PR heads at ministries, and can navigate both political and bureaucratic dynamics to close deals.
nKey Responsibilities:




n• Own and grow a portfolio of government and PSU accounts, generating advertising, event sponsorship, and content marketing revenue across AIM properties.
n• Develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers at Central and State Ministries, PSEs, regulatory bodies, and government-backed technology initiatives (e.g., MeitY, DPIIT, NIC, NASSCOM government programmes).
n• Identify and pursue recent government tenders, RFPs, and direct media mandates — from annual advertising budgets to one-time campaign spends.
n• Pitch AIM's media offerings — editorial placements, event sponsorships, research reports, awards, and branded content — to government communication and public affairs teams.
n• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal, internal approvals, billing (including DAVP/DPIIT rate structures where applicable), and collection.
n• Coordinate with internal editorial, events, and research teams
