This criteria targets a hybrid Senior DataStage Engineer/Platform Administrator. It emphasizes deep ETL knowledge, Information Server platform architecture, network load balancing, database operations (dsodb/xmeta), user/project administration, and extensive scripting and automation.

1. Core Platform & Architecture




- Platform Buildout & Installation: Proven experience architecting, installing, configuring, and upgrading IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.x+) environments.
- Network Load Balancing: Deep knowledge of network load balancing and clustering strategies to ensure high availability, horizontal scaling, and failover across DataStage engine tiers and Websphere clustered environments.
- Metadata & Repository Knowledge: Advanced SQL querying skills targeted at the Operations Database (dsodb) and Metadata Repository (xmeta DB) for monitoring performance, auditing jobs, and identify stages being used.
- Exposure to AI tools/usage in day-to-day work
- Demonstrates continuous learning and adoption of new technologies
