nEssential:

- Ph.D. Degree with First Class Master's Degree in Psychology and experience of ten years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Professor/Associate Professor/Reader or equivalent grade;n

- In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:n

- n
- First Class Master's Degree in Psychology and significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch and industrial / professional experience of ten years at a senior level comparable to Associate Professor / Reader.n
- Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, and / or technical reports;n
- Experience of guiding the project work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in industry;n
- Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R & D, consultancy and related activities.n

nDesirable:

- Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and / or professional activities;n
- Evidence of service to University, the Profession and the Community;n
- Evidence of Curriculum Development.n

nASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
nEssential:

- n
- A Ph.D. Degree and a Master's Degree in Psychology with at least 55% marks and experience of eight years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade; excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.n

- In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential: First Class Master's Degree in Psychology and significant skilled work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. degree in appropriate branch and industrial/professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor.n
