As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Procurement Specialist with a background in Manufacturing or FMCG to join our procurement team in Djibouti.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2–5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or FMCG workplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing engineering materials, spare parts, industrial equipment and production-related items to support manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supplier management, negotiation and ensuring uninterrupted supply to production and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities




- Source and procure engineering materials, industrial equipment, spare parts, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) items and production consumables.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and recommend cost-effective procurement solutions.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Warehouse and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance with respect to quality, cost and delivery.
- Follow up on purchase orders and resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays and quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and documentation.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company procurement policies and procedures.
