Role Description The Senior Firmware Engineer contract role is a remote position responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software for intelligent robotics and smart home devices. Day-to-day work includes developing firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers,



integrating low-level drivers, and ensuring reliable communication between hardware components and higher-level systems. The engineer will debug complex firmware issues, collaborate with electrical and software teams on board bring-up and system integration, and contribute to code reviews and documentation to maintain high-quality standards. This role also involves performance tuning, testing, and validating firmware in real-world scenarios to ensure safety, robustness, and scalability across Constraal’s product portfolio.
Qualifications
Robust proficiency in Embedded Software and Software Development, including C/C++ for microcontrollers and real-time systems.
Hands-on experience with ARM Architecture, including ARM Cortex-based MCUs, toolchains, and debugging tools.
Demonstrated expertise in Debugging embedded systems, using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit debuggers.
