Senior Finance Controller

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Controller with 14+ years of experience to lead end-to-end finance, accounting, controllership, and FP&A; across Techne's global entities and investment structures.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with robust technical accounting expertise, commercial judgment, and experience working with US-based companies and complex, cross-border finance operations.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with US GAAP, IFRS, US accounting and reporting, financial reporting, FP&A;, tax, audit, treasury, internal controls, and multi-entity finance.

Experience with US Delaware C-Corporations and VC/PE environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end accounting, controllership, financial close, consolidation, and reporting across multiple entities
- Lead accounting under US GAAP, IFRS, and applicable local GAAP
- Manage US entity accounting, including Delaware C-Corporations
- Coordinate audits,



tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and external advisors
- Lead FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash-flow planning, and management reporting
- Oversee AP/AR, banking, treasury, payroll accounting, intercompany transactions, and vendor management
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, finance policies, processes, and governance
- Support VC/fund operations, including fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, LP reporting, investment accounting, and portfolio tracking
- Support investment analysis, financial due diligence, and evaluation of new investments
- Manage cap tables, equity transactions, stock-based compensation, and corporate financial records
- Partner with founders and leadership on financial strategy, business planning, cost management, and decision-making
