Position OverviewWe are looking for a Billing Engineer cum Work Order with 3–4 years of relevant experience in the real estate/construction industry . The candidate should have robust knowledge of contractor billing, work order preparation, quantity verification, BOQ, measurements, rate analysis, and billing documentation .
The candidate will be responsible for independently managing billing activities as well as preparing, processing, and maintaining work orders for contractors and vendors.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork Order Management
- Prepare Work Orders (WO) for contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Draft work orders based on approved quotations, BOQs, negotiated rates, scope of work, and management approvals.
- Ensure work orders clearly mention scope of work, quantities, rates, specifications, payment terms, timelines, taxes, retention, and other applicable terms .




- Coordinate with the Purchase, Project, QS, and Accounts departments for work order approvals and execution.
- Maintain a systematic record of all issued, revised, and closed work orders.
- Prepare amendments/revisions in work orders wherever required.

BOQ & Cost Control
- Prepare and review BOQ and item-wise quantities .
- Assist in rate analysis and comparison of contractor/vendor rates.
- Monitor work orders against actual site progress and approved quantities.
- Track variations, extra items, and deviation statements.
- Ensure billing is within approved work order values and project budgets.

Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for measurement verification and work completion status .
- Coordinate with Accounts for payment processing after bill approval.
- Maintain proper documentation of BOQs, WOs, RA Bills, measurements, approvals, and supporting document
