Role Description The Salad Chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of salads and healthy dishes in line with The Hope Salad’s recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include washing, cutting, and assembling fresh ingredients, managing portion sizes, and ensuring food presentation is appealing and consistent. The role involves maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with the kitchen team for smooth service during peak hours.



The Salad Chef will also assist in experimenting with new menu items, providing input on flavor combinations, and ensuring timely order preparation. This is a full time, on-site role based in Mangaluru.
Qualifications

Strong salad and cold kitchen preparation skills, including ingredient handling and basic knife skills.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen and service staff.
Interest in healthy, diet-conscious cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and menu items.
Previous experience in a professional kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
