Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the company's trade finance and working capital functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in arranging trade finance facilities through NBFCs, banks, and other financial institutions to support high-volume trading operations. The role requires expertise in bill discounting, invoice financing, inventory funding, cash flow management, and developing strong lender relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective access to working capital.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Finance & Working Capital

- Arrange and manage trade finance facilities from NBFCs, banks, and other financial institutions to support trading operations.
- Structure and execute bill discounting, invoice discounting, receivable financing, supplier financing, inventory financing, and other working capital solutions.
- Optimize working capital by improving receivable collections, inventory turnover, and supplier payment cycles.
- Forecast working capital requirements and ensure uninterrupted liquidity for trading operations.
- Identify innovative financing structures to support business growth while minimizing financing costs.

Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with banks, NBFCs, Fintech lenders, and trade finance institutions.
- Negotiate competitive financing terms, interest rates, credit limits, collateral requirements, and documentation.
- Expand the company's lender network to diversify funding sources and enhance financing flexibility.
- Coordinate lender due diligence, audits, and periodic reviews.

Treasury & Banking

- Manage cash flow planning and daily liquidity requirements.
- Administer working capital facilities including Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), Packing Credit, Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG),



and trade finance limits.
- Monitor utilization of sanctioned limits and ensure timely renewals and compliance with lender covenants.
- Prepare CMA data, stock statements, financial information, and other reports required by lenders.

Financial Planning & Controls

- Prepare cash flow forecasts and financing plans aligned with business growth.
- Analyze borrowing costs and recommend strategies to optimize the capital structure.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financing agreements, and regulatory requirements.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Partner with Procurement, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align financing solutions with business requirements.
- Support management in evaluating new business opportunities from a financing and liquidity perspective.

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 815 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, trade finance, or banking, preferably within a trading, commodities, distribution, or supply chain business.
- Demonstrated success in arranging trade finance through NBFCs.
