Role Summary:

Responsible for reviewing and processing merchant credit applications, assessing risk, and making underwriting recommendations in line with internal policies, sponsor bank guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Ensures timely decisions while safeguarding the company against credit and fraud risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze merchant credit applications, financials, and transaction profiles.
- Assess credit exposure and make underwriting recommendations as per company and sponsor bank policies.
- Evaluate potential exposure, fraud exposure, and business viability before approval/decline decisions.
- Coordinate with merchants, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to obtain required information.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and card network requirements
