We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with solid expertise in Python, PyTest, and API Testing to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks and test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web services, APIs, and applications.

The candidate should possess a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation best practices, CI/CD processes, and agile development principles. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify quality risks, improve test coverage, and drive continuous quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Python and PyTest.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs, microservices, and web applications.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Enhance existing automation suites for improved efficiency, maintainability, and performance.

API Testing





- Design and execute comprehensive API test cases for REST and web service endpoints.
- Validate API functionality, response structures, status codes, authentication mechanisms, and business logic.
- Perform data validation across backend databases and API responses.
- Develop automated API testing solutions using tools such as Postman, PyTest, Requests, or similar frameworks.

Quality Assurance & Validation

- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create effective test strategies and test cases.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through their lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects and recommend preventive actions.
- Ensure test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.

CI/CD & Test Integration

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute automated tests within build and deployment workflows.
- Analyze test execution results and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
- Support continuous testing practices within Agile and DevOps environments.
