Role & responsibilities

The role is responsible for timely development of BIM output with minimum iterations and non-compliances WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF delivering high quality and timely BIM deliverables to the engineering and operation team in line with Project BIM Execution Plan and Leightons operating procedures. This will be a shared resource in the LAIO organization.

Tasks:

• Responsible for creating and maintaining the BIM models providing necessary onsite support and technical advisory services (BIM related) to the operation team

• Create Revit families, Civil Assemblies and other parametric components

• Responsible for technical project drawings, create, maintain or amend BIM models of different disciplines

• Develop plans, sections, elevations and details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities

• Clearly annotate, dimension and detail construction drawings in conformance to company standards and client requirement using smart tagging

• Analyse details, sketches, mark-ups and input data

• Seek resolution on technical issues from engineering / tender team, as required

• Develop final BIM output for approval

• Communicate and co-ordinate with different stakeholders including consultants, subcontractors and internal operation team in the smooth execution and delivery of projects and the usage of BIM models





• Provides technical support to the latest versions of Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D & Navisworks

• Maintain accurate data set in drawings, design specifications and project schedules

• Collaborate innovation initiatives to support the tender presentations and promote execution strategies at corporate level

• Assist in the research and facilitating the means of better BIM applications in order to improve the communication, co-ordination, management and delivery time, cost and quality throughout the building life cycle of the projects

Preferred candidate profile

• A technical understanding of Civil & Structural discipline is preferred

- Hands-on BIM authoring experience Revit
- Ability to generate construction Shop Drawings, CSD & ISD drawing from Revit BIM model preferable
- Perform clash analysis, construction simulation, exporting construction drawings, etc
- Advanced understanding of BIM processes and ability to develop this on new projects
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and solve problems when working under pressure
- Passion in digital technology for construction;
- Ability to develop learning material to support project teams
- Demonstrate a reliable, responsive and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Possess a solid work ethic
- Punctuality
