Job Purpose

The Techno-Commercial team is responsible for sourcing and procuring goods, services, and supplies while ensuring quality, quantity, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves identifying and developing suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, managing end-to-end procurement activities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers for production and non-production materials.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from sourcing to delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to achieve cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain procurement records and prepare periodic reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational requirements.
- Resolve procurement and supply chain-related issues effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Educational QualificationMust Have:

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.

Preferred:

- Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Negotiation, and Part Development.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP, and MRP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Strategic Sourcing.
- Robust understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, market analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience in stakeholder management and team leadership will be preferred.
