Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transport Executive to manage daily transportation operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate vehicle movements, monitor driver performance, optimize routes, ensure compliance with transportation regulations, and maintain high service standards while controlling operational costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily transportation schedules.
- Assign vehicles and drivers based on operational requirements.
- Monitor vehicle movement using GPS and ensure timely deliveries.
- Optimize routes to reduce fuel consumption and transportation costs.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, maintenance, and driver logs.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and ensure fleet readiness.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Resolve transportation issues, delays, and customer complaints promptly.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, and adherence to schedules.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transportation reports.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams for smooth operations.
- Track transportation expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and transportation management software.
- Knowledge of fleet operations, route planning, and transportation regulations.
