Business Contribution:

An Oracle Technical Developer is responsible for the technical development, testing, and deployment of system programs changes. These programs and changes are required to support production issues reported and system enhancements requested by the business. The Developer must also have a strong understanding and experience with the Oracle R12 EBS Applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Development and Production Support

- Create Technical Design and specifications documentation for technical program changes

- Develop programs and technical processes to support the Oracle Applications team. This includes both Production Support and Enhancement tickets.

- Document Test Cases and complete thorough Unit Testing on all programs developed.

- Work directly with Oracle technical manager and application Business System Analysts (BSA) to receive and finalize new task requirements.

- Solid understanding of Oracle EBS modules like General ledger, Fixed Assets , Order Management, Service Contracts, Inventory, Shipping is preferred.

- Work with Oracle and Oracle based business applications, local and remote development team members, and end-users to identify development requirements and execute approved development.

- Accountable for operational support.

- Interfaces between Oracle Applications and other systems.

- EDI transactions and processes relative to the Oracle Applications.

- Ability to work in OA Framework is preferred.

- Create system models, specifications, diagrams, charts and technical documentation as required.

- Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end user reviews, for modified and new systems,



and other post- implementations support.

- Maintains system documentation by writing and updating procedures.

- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.

- Interfaces with various levels of staff levels with the highest level of professionalism.

- Troubleshooting application related technical issues and errors.

- Provides input to business leadership team on prioritization within IT portfolio and works well with the cross functional team.

- Manage projects with varying degrees of complexity, provide production support to the business users and system processes, and ensure high level of IT service.

Experience Required

- Bachelors Degree BA/BS in Computer Science
- 6-8 years of technical experience with Oracle EBS Applications, release R12
- Strong Technical and functional knowledge of Oracle ERP suite Release 12
- Strong understanding of Order Management, Service Contracts, and Installed Base modules
- Mergers / Acquisitions and Business Intelligence Implementation Experience
- Candidates should have at least 2 full life cycles with hands-on configuration experience in multiple modules.
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables and architecture, integration points, data conversion and technology processes, as they are critical to success in this role.
