Role & responsibilities
- Coordinate patient registration, counselling, scheduling and departmental workflow
- Monitor radiology reporting turnaround time and ensure timely report dispatch
- Coordinate OPD, IPD and priority-patient investigations
- Supervise departmental staff, duty rosters, attendance and leave management
- Oversee PACS workflow and daily/monthly data verification
- Monitor statutory documentation, equipment fitness and TLD badge requirements
- Maintain departmental stocks, inventory and consumption records
- Review billing cancellations, discounts and outstanding amounts
- Prepare departmental MIS reports and monitor operational KPIs
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and support CAPA implementation
- Conduct staff training and maintain patient-service standards
- Maintain SOPs and documentation required for NABH/MIS accreditation
- Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering, HR, Purchase, Marketing and other hospital departments
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree with postgraduate degree/diploma in Hospital Management
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in hospital or diagnostic-centre operations
- Strong supervisory, communication and organizational skills.
- Positive computer knowledge and ability to work with hospital information systems.
- Experience in radiology operations, PACS, quality management or NABH documentation is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage a busy patient-care environment.
