- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing bone marrow/stem cell transplantation.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' physical and psychological conditions.
- Administer medications, chemotherapy, blood products, IV fluids, and supportive therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor patients for complications such as infections, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), and adverse drug reactions.
- Maintain strict infection prevention and isolation protocols to protect immunocompromised patients.
- Perform venous access care, central line dressing changes, and catheter maintenance.
- Collect and monitor laboratory samples, vital signs, fluid balance, and other clinical parameters.
- Educate patients and their families about the transplant process, medications, nutrition, hygiene, and post-transplant care.
- Coordinate patient care with hematologists,



transplant physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families throughout the transplant journey.
- Ensure secure handling and administration of blood and blood components.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and mandatory training programs.
- Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
