- Design, develop, maintain, and support POS Switch applications within the Banking and Payments domain.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, identify gaps, and provide scalable solutions for payment switching systems.
- Work on POS transaction processing, message routing, authorization, settlement, and integration with external payment networks.
- Participate in architecture discussions, solution design, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Develop applications using Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform system integration, functional, technical, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure seamless transaction processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, transaction, and production issues, providing timely support and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business users, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Develop automated unit tests, CI/CD pipelines,



build scripts using Maven, and manage deployments through Jenkins.
- Manage version control using Git/SVN and support release management activities.
- Identify project risks, propose mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues when required.
- Support cloud deployment initiatives and continuous improvement of payment switching platforms.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards is mandatory; experience with NDC+ and APTRA will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Banking, Payment Switch, ATM/POS systems, Card Management Systems, and Financial Transaction Processing is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
