Key Responsibilities

1. Physical Security & Surveillance

- Safeguard plant premises, raw materials, finished goods, and warehouses.
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control, and perimeter security.
- Conduct regular patrolling and inspections across production, storage, utilities, and dispatch areas.

2. Incident Prevention & Emergency Response

- Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to fire incidents, theft, accidents, and unauthorized access.
- Maintain incident registers, prepare investigation reports, and recommend corrective actions.

3. Manpower & Vendor Coordination

- Supervise security guards, shift rosters, and deployment at key locations.
- Conduct training and security awareness programs for guards and staff.
- Coordinate with third-party security agencies and ensure adherence to SOPs.

4. Compliance & Audits





- Ensure compliance with plant security policies, statutory requirements, and ISO / OHSAS standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to security and safety.

5. Logistics & Material Movement Control

- Monitor inbound and outbound movement of materials, finished goods, and contractor vehicles.
- Verify gate passes, challans, and material issue/return documents.
- Implement and monitor Integrated Truck Management System (ITMS) to prevent pilferage (where applicable).

6. Liaison & Reporting

- Maintain solid liaison with local police, fire department, and emergency services.
- Prepare and submit Daily Security Reports (DSR) and Monthly Review Reports to management.Role & responsibilities
